The turmeric (curcuma) root is much more than a spice. In the tradition of India, the plant, which is also known as a yellow root or Siam-Tulpe, has played an important role for centuries. Curcumin is the most important ingredient in the turmeric root. It is one of the curcuminoids, so -called secondary plant substances.

Problem: the bioavailability
