Perio Plus+ Balance
Mouthwash Perio Plus+ Balance with CHX 0.05% and CITROX®/P complex (200 ml)
• Chlorhexidine digluconate 0.05% for proven chemical bacterial control
• CITROX®/P complex: natural bitter orange extract and the amino acid polylysine to support the long-term effect
• Sodium fluoride for additional prevention of tooth decay during long-term use
• PVP-VA for extra strong protective film on mucosa and teeth
• Without alcohol
CHX plus nature
Dentistry has been prescribing chlorhexidine for almost seventy years, and for good reason: it works. In addition to CHX digluconate, Perio Plus+ contains natural bioflavonoids extracted from bitter orange (Citrus aurantium amara): CITROX®.
The ideal combination
The bioflavonoids from CITROX® themselves have an antibacterial effect. And in combination with CHX, CITROX® even supports the antibacterial effect of CHX. With CITROX® and CHX digluconate, Perio Plus+ has the best prerequisites for good success.
This is the CITROX®/P complex
CITROX® comes directly from nature: It is a natural bioflavonoid extract from bitter orange (Citrus aurantium amara) and is strong against bacteria. To ensure that it adheres well to teeth, gums and mucous membranes of the mouth for a long-term effect, it is combined with the amino acid polylysine, which is also natural: to form the CITROX®/P complex.
Good taste, no irritation
Perio Plus+ tastes good: thanks to CITROX® and the taste developed by Givaudan's aroma professionals. In addition: Perio Plus+ does not irritate the sense of taste: It doesn't matter whether it's orange juice or pizza, everything tastes the way it should.
Tips against discoloration
Avoid tobacco, coffee, black and green tea, red wine, berries, curry, saffron during therapy. This keeps discolouration to a minimum. Clean well with a toothbrush, possibly use a whitening toothpaste such as our «Black Is White» or BE YOU. The discolouration can be easily removed by dental professionals.
Caution
Only use Perio Plus+ or other CHX rinses if recommended by your dentist. Normally you do not need this product, toothbrushes and interdental brushes are sufficient. For use, follow the instructions of your dental professional.
