30 mg dextrometorphanhydrobromide 1 H2O, corresponding to 22 mg dextrometorphan

Lactose-Monohydrate; Talc; Macrogol 6000; Magnesium stear (Ph.Eur.); Gelatin; purified water; Indigocarmin; Titanium dioxide

Contradictions

In the case of known hypersensitivity to one of the above -mentioned ingredients, this product should not be used.
This product is not suitable for young people under the age of 12.
This product must not be used for a well -known asthma bronchial, chronic obstructive lung disease or - inflammation, breathing, breathing insufficiency or breastfeeding.

dosage

Recommendation of application of coughing stentler ratiopharm Dextrometorphan (package size: 10 pc):

You can use coughing stentler ratiopharm dextrometorphan (pack size: 10 pc) 1 capsule every 6 hours with lots of water. In order to avoid overdose, the maximum daily dose of 4 capsules should not be exceeded.

Taking

• The capsules are taken with sufficient (e.g. 1 glass of water) liquid.
• The intake should be given preferably at night in order to maintain the effectiveness through intermittent application.

Patient information

• Particular caution when taking the medicine is required
  • if you suffer from a limited liver function
  • if you take certain mood-enhancing medicines (MAO inhibitors) at the same time
  • In the event of a cough with considerable mucus formation, you should only take the medicine with special care in consultation and on instructions from the doctor, because under these circumstances a suppression of cough is undesirable.
  • Chronic cough can be an early symptom of a bronchial asthma, so the medicine to dampen this cough is not indicated, especially in children.

  • There are no examinations of a transition from Dextrometorphan to breast milk. Since a breath -depressive effect on the infant cannot be ruled out, Dextrometorphan may not be used during breastfeeding.
