Field of use

• The preparation is an acny therapy for use on the skin.
• The medicine is used for acne vulgaris, especially on the chest and back, pimples, greasy skin, imprinting and generally impure skin. Furthermore, acne vulgaris, which does not adequately appeal to 5 %benzoylperoxide preparations.
• Benzoylperoxide, the active ingredient of the preparation, acts against the acnebacteria that are responsible for the development of acne. The cornening disorder available in acne is positively influenced by the gentle peeling effect.

Mode of action

Cordes BPO 3% (pack size: 30 g) effectively besides pimples and blackheads and inhibits the new formation of pimples and pus pustules.
The acne therapy is available in the pharmacy without a prescription and has an antibacterial and peeling effect in one.

Contradictions

• The medicine must not be used,
  • if you know that you are allergic to the active ingredient benzoylperoxide or one of the other components.

dosage

• Always apply this medicine as described or exactly after the agreement made with your doctor or pharmacist. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
• Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the medicine is applied once or twice a day after prior cleaning to the affected skin areas.
• Initially, the frequency of use should be carried out depending on the skin sensitivity and, if necessary, treatment with a daily application, each in the evening.
• The preparation should be used until the acne disease has improved or the skin symptoms have disappeared. Please ask your treating doctor. The average treatment period is 4-10 weeks.
• The frequency of the application depends on the type and severity of the clinical picture and the skin reaction.

 

• If you have used a larger amount than you should
  • If the skin occurs, the application should be carried out less frequently or canceled. Special countermeasures are not required.

 

• If you have forgotten the application
  • After a forgotten single dose, please do not apply the double amount of the drug during the following treatment, but resume treatment with the intended dose.

 

• If you cancel the application:
  • Please discuss the further procedure with your doctor because the success of the treatment is at risk.

Taking

• For application on the skin.
• The skin should be cleaned thoroughly before using the preparation.
• Then the gel is applied thinly to the skin (do not massage in) and left on the skin. After applying, the hands are to be cleaned thoroughly. The medicine should not be applied to healthy skin.
• Notice:
  • Due to the bleaching effect, the medicine should not be applied to the eyebrows, in the beard area or the head hair limit, nor must it not come into contact with colored textiles.

  • Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist before using the preparation.
  • Caution is at Pattrols with predisposition to allergic eczema (atopic) when used on the dry (sebostatic) skin.
  • Notice:
    • The medicine must not be applied to mucous membranes and in the area of the oral, nose and eye angles. Due to the high sensitization rate, benzoylperoxide should not be applied to pre -damaged (eroded) skin.

Pregnancy

• The medicine should only be used during pregnancy and lactation after careful advice from the doctor. The preparation should not be used in the last month of pregnancy.
• There are no knowledge of the transition to breast milk after external treatment during pregnancy. Likewise, there is no knowledge of concentration in breast milk in external (external) treatment during lactation (time of milk production). For these reasons, not only during pregnancy, but also during the lactation phase (lactation), a strict estimate of the benefit/risk relationship by the treating doctor and special caution when using benzoylperoxide should be credited.
• So far, there is no call for damage to the unborn child.

Hints

- In the event of sensitive skin, use the gel only once a day before going to bed.
- Only when the skin tolerates the medication can the medication to be prepared more.
- If there is no visible improvement, a higher concentrated medication should be used.
- At the beginning there can be slight skin irritation such as reddening, itching, feeling of tension, burning and drying out and moderate peeling. If these signs last for longer than 5 days, the medication must be discontinued and the doctor should be asked.
- Due to the bleaching effect, do not apply to the eyebrows, in the beard area or the forehead hair border, nor must it not come into contact with colored textiles.
