Contrasm&Reg Grün - Diaphragma Gel
For use with diaphragms or portiacaps
Contrangel GREM forms a mechanical barrier in front of the cervix by means of methyl cellulose and reduces the pH. The sperm will immobilized. The cervix (Zerfix) is closed (glued). A proven diaphragmail that has been made in this composition since 1972 and is used.
This gel based on lactic acid is suitable for diaphragms and portia caps, made of latex and silicone.
Composition:
Water, lactic acid, sodium lactate, methyl cellulose, sorbic acid
Application:
The safe use of a diaphragm (vaginal pessary) or a portia cap (Femcap) is always carried out with a gel (e.g. ContraPLE green) that is in the membrane is given. This gel is a supplementary security with these barrier presumption. The application of a diaphragm or one Portio cap without gel is less safe. The gel is placed in the membrane/ cap before inserting the diaphragm. Now the diaphragma or The portia cap is used so that the cervix is covered with the gel. It is also "closed".
