COMFORT SHIELD MDS Eye drops, 10 ml

Comfort Shield® imitates the behavior of the natural tear: High viscosity with an eye open guarantees high stability of the tear film. Low viscosity in the eyelash ensures good gliding of the eyelid and even distribution of the tear film without the streak formation known from eye gel with blurred vision after dropping. The excellent effectiveness without visual compromises after dropping can only be achieved by using low concentration of Hylan A (= hyaluronic acid of extremely high molassium).

Despite the very high viscosity with the eye open, Comfort Shield® eye drops immediately even on the corneal surface and therefore do not lead to streak seeing. The sinking of the viscosity under the influence of the lid's shear forces protects the sensitive surface of irritated eyes during the eyelid.

Comfort Shield® eye drops are available in a 10 ml bottle (Comfort Shield® MDS®) and in lockable single boxes (Comfort Shield® SD). Comfort Shield® MDS® contains approximately 300 drops and can be used for six months after an onset.

The use of hyaluronic acid with very long molecular chains can be seen in the formation of thread when you hold a drop between your fingers and move your fingers apart and slowly drain on a sloping plate.

Comfort Shield® eye drops are universally applicable to treat irritations of the surface of the eye, but also offer help with chronic inflammation and heavy dry eye such as:
- Injuries, recurring erosions, surgical interventions with the participation of the cornea and conjunctiva
- Rheumatic diseases with the participation of the eye (Sjögren syndrome)
- Allergic diseases with the participation of the surface of the eye
- Chronic inflammation of the surface of the eye (e.g. Stevens Johnson Syndrom SJS, Lyell Syndrome, Trachom)
- Hormone disorders (e.g. menopause)
