KOLLAGEN RESORB Sponges 3x7 cm, 5 pcs

COLLAGEN resorbTM is a soft, dimensionally stable collagen sponge for local hemostasis

Through the use of collagen fibrils of equine origin (horse's Achilles tendons) and through the careful depletion of non-collagenous components, it has been possible to offer a product with the highest safety profile.

The many advantages for the user result from the positive properties of collagen:

- osteoconductive
- angioconductive
- pH stable
- non-antigenic

Possible indications for KOLLAGEN resorbTM are:
- For wound care and as a hemostyptic in venous, capillary, diffuse and extensive bleeding from parenchymatous organs
- As a temporary skin replacement for painless coverage, e.g. B. Ulcus cruris
- To cover skin donor sites
- For temporary covering of 2nd and 3rd degree burns
- For filling defects and stopping bleeding after spongiosa removal or other orthopedic interventions (e.g. filling the intervertebral disc space)
- As a carrier material for fibrin glue
- For hemostasis in different disciplines of surgery

The additional collagen offered massively supports the physiological thrombus formation and achieves rapid and reliable hemostasis.

For this reason, KOLLAGEN resorbTM can be used in almost all surgical disciplines for local haemostasis in the case of capillary bleeding, bleeding from parenchymatous organs, oozing bleeding and as a supportive measure in other haemostasis techniques.
