Field of use

• The medicine is a medicine for the treatment of fungal infections of the vagina. The active ingredient clotrimazole inhibits growth and the increase in mushroom cells such as: B. Sprospilzen (yeasts) as well as a number of other mushrooms and some bacteria.
• The medicine is used at:
  • Excursion, due to mushrooms (mostly candida).

Contradictions

• The medicine must not be used,
  • if you are hypersensitive (allergic) against the active ingredient clotrimazole or one of the other components of the drug.

dosage

• Always apply the medicine exactly according to the instruction. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not quite sure.
  • Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is
    • on 3 consecutive days, 1 application fulfillment (approx. 5 g vaginal cream) is emptied 1 times a day in the vagina as deep as possible.

 

• Duration of the application
  • In general, a 3-day treatment is sufficient for vaginal inflammation, especially due to fungi. If necessary, a second treatment can be carried out over 3 days.
  • The signs of vaginal inflammation caused by mushrooms (such as itching, discharge, burning) generally decrease significantly within the first 4 days after the start of the treatment. If there is no significant improvement in the symptoms after 4 days, please contact your doctor.
  • Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of the drug is too strong or too weak.

 

• If you die forgot the application of the drug
  • If you have forgotten the application in the evening, you can make up for the application in the course of the following morning. Next time, do not apply a larger amount of the vaginal cream, but continue the treatment as recommended.

 

• If you cancel the application of the drug
  • In order to achieve a complete healing of the infection and prevent relapse, you should not end or interrupt the treatment prematurely. If you do this anyway, there is a fear of returning the symptoms, since your fungal infection is probably not yet properly healed.
  • You should not cancel the treatment after the complaints have subsided, but should continue consistently over 3 days.

Taking

• With the help of the applicator, the medicine is inserted into the vagina as deep as possible. This is best done in a back with slightly attracted legs.
• The treatment should not be carried out during menstruation or should be completed before the start.
• If treatment is required during pregnancy at the doctor's instruction, this should be carried out with vaginal tablets, since these can also be used without an applicator.
• Application of the drug with the one-off applicator
  • The piston of the single applicator is pulled out to the stop.
  • Open the tube, put on the one-off applicator onto the tube, let it press firmly and fill by carefully pressing the tube.
  • Remove the one-time applicator from the tube, insert as deep as possible into the vagina (preferably in a backlage) and empty by pressure on the piston.
  • For each application, a new single applicator must be taken, which is thrown away after use.
