The test is not sent directly to a laboratory, but goes through a distribution center. I took the test on Monday and put it in the mailbox. I received an email on Friday that the test had arrived at a distribution center and was now being prepared and sent to a specialist laboratory, which would take 1-2 working days ...

It took a bit of effort for me to prick my finger. But then it was quite easy. Because of my office job, I had suspected that I was suffering from a vitamin D deficiency for a long time and now that the sun is getting less and less, I discovered this test to check it. Since I wasn't entirely sure from various reports as to whether you need vitamin D or not, and opinions differ on the internet and among doctors, I simply ordered the test to see whether I need vitamin D or not. Taking the final sample was quite easy and after just 3 days the result was that my vitamin D depot was sufficiently filled. I will therefore repeat the test 1-2 times a year to rule out overdosing or underdosing. I also think it's good that the test is cheaper here than at my family doctor, where I would have had to use it as an IGEL service.
