Caya® is inserted into the vagina like a tampon before sex. It completely covers the cervix and lies between the posterior fornix of the vagina and the niche on the pubic bone. During and after sex, Caya® prevents sperm from entering the uterus.

After intercourse, the Caya® diaphragm must remain in the vagina for at least 6 hours.

I've been using the Caya diaphragm in combination with Caya Gel for two years now.Before that, I tried many other contraceptives (the pill, IUD, copper ball), but none of them worked for me long-term.My gynecologist then recommended Caya. Admittedly, I was a little skeptical at first and insisted on using a condom as well, but with each use, I became more confident and now trust it completely.If you know your body and aren't squeamish about touching it, Caya is very easy to insert, even easier than a menstrual cup.I haven't had any problems with it so far, and although my body is very sensitive, I tolerate the gel without any side effects.
