Canesten Extra Bifonazole (pack size: 20 g) reliably eliminates the skin and feet. In contrast to many other mushrooms, the Canesten Extra cream only has to be applied once a day and pulls into the skin quickly. It quickly relieves symptoms such as itching, redness and burning. Thanks to the broadband effect of the active ingredient bifonazole, all relevant pathogens are combated and additionally inhibited inflammation. Before you treat the affected skin areas with the Canesten Extra cream, you should clean the areas with water and dry it well. It is best to apply the white, fast -moving cream in the evening before going to bed and massage it briefly. Avoid eye contact with the Canesten Extra cream. The treatment only requires a low amount of time: it is sufficient to apply a centimeter -long ointment strand (for about a handmade sized area) to the affected area once a day.

An important note: Do not break the therapy if the symptoms improve, because this often happens within the first three days. However, the pathogens - both fungi and bacteria - remain longer in the skin layers. If you stop using the Canesten Extra cream prematurely, there is the possibility that the germs could multiply again and the foot or skin fungus could reappear.

The following therapy periods must be observed depending on the type of illness:

• three weeks: foot mycoses, intermediate toe mycoses
• two to three weeks: mycoses on body, hands and in skin folds
• two weeks: lichen mushroom lichen, erythrasma (bacterial infection of the skin)
• two to four weeks: Hefinfections of the skin

If you have forgotten the treatment with the Canesten Extra Bifonazole (pack size: 20 g) , continue with the therapy as usual. If the application is forgotten several times, the therapy duration can extend. Infants and toddlers are also allowed to use the medicine, but only after a medical consultation. Find a doctor if the symptoms aggravate if no improvement occurs after a week or if side effects such as pain in the place of administration arise. An overdose of the cream does not result in any further consequences based on the current knowledge.

Contradictions

• The medicine must not be used
  • if you are hypersensitive (allergic) against bifonazole or one of the other components of the drug.

dosage

• Always apply the medicine exactly according to the instruction. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not quite sure.
  • The usual dose is:
    • Apply the medicine to the diseased skin areas once a day. About 1 g of cream (corresponding to 0.5 - 1 cm of strand length) is generally sufficient to apply to a palm size.

 

• Duration of the application:
  • The regular and sufficiently long use of this drug is important for the success of the treatment. The duration of treatment is of different lengths and depends, among other things, on the extent and localization of the disease. In order to achieve a complete healing, treatment with the drug should not be ended immediately after the acute inflammatory disease signs or the subjective symptoms.
  • The duration of treatment for skin diseases is generally 2-4 weeks.
  • Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of the drug is too strong or too weak.

 

• If you have used a larger amount of the drug than you should
  • You can continue treatment with the dose prescribed. No impairments can be expected in the event of a short -term overdose.

 

• If you have forgotten the application of the drug
  • Set the treatment as stated in the dosage instructions (e.g., for example, do not apply the cream more or in larger quantities).

 

• If you cancel the application of the drug
  • Please note that a sufficiently long application duration of the drug is important in order to achieve complete healing and avoid relapses.
  • Therefore, speak to your doctor or pharmacist before interrupting treatment or ending prematurely because of occurring side effects!

 

• If you have any further questions about the application of the drug, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Taking

    • You should only use the medicine in infants under medical monitoring.

  • There is no experience with regard to the impairment of traffic and the ability to use machines.

Pregnancy

• Pregnancy and breast feeding period
  • Bifonazole should only be used with careful use-risk assessment during pregnancy, since there is no experience with the application for pregnant women.
  • During the breastfeeding period, the medicine must not be used in the chest area.
  • Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking/using all drugs.
