Field of use

Calcium carbonate abanta is used for symptomatic therapy (treatment of disease signs) during heartburn and acid -related stomach complaints.

Contradictions

• The medicine must not be taken
  • in the case of too high calcium concentrations in the blood or in the urine
  • if the limbs (immobilization) are immobilized for a long time
  • with kidney stones containing calcium or calcification of the kidney
  • if you are allergic to calcium carbonate or one of the other components of this medicine

 

dosage

• Always take the preparation exactly according to the instruction. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not quite sure.
• The recommended dose is:
  • Several times a day, 1 - 2 hours after meals 2 chewing tablets.
  • If necessary, you can also take the medicine for eating or between meals.
  • The total dose should not exceed 10 chewing tablets a day.
• Treatment duration:
  • The duration of the treatment depends on the type and severity and the course of the disease. If the symptoms remain under treatment for more than two weeks, a doctor should be consulted.

 

• If you have taken a larger amount of the drug than you should
  • An overdose is usually without consequences. If symptoms arise, please contact your doctor.

Taking

Hints

Caution with restricted kidney function and humiliated phosphate concentration in the blood. When gifted high doses, the calcium level in serum and urine should be checked (milk alkali syndrome). Contains lactose.
