Field of use

• The medicine is a mineral preparation
• It is used:
  • to prevent a calcium lack of calcium with increased need (e.g. growth age, pregnancy, lactation).
  • for supporting osteoporosis.

Contradictions

• The medicine must not be taken at:
  • too high calcium concentrations in the blood or in the urine
  • longer immobilization of limbs (immobilization)
  • calcium -containing kidney stones or calcification of the kidney
  • Hypersensitivity to the active ingredient or one of the other components of the drug.

 

dosage

• Take Calcium Verla 600mg (package size: 100 pc) always followed exactly according to the instruction. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not quite sure.
• The usual dose is: 1 - 2 times a day 1 film -coated tablet (corresponding to 600 - 1200 mg calcium) with sufficient liquid, preferably with water.
• The treatment of calcium lack and osteoporosis can be created in the long term. Their duration is based on the intended therapeutic goal.
• The drug should be taken in the long term. Talk to your doctor how long you should take the medicine.
• Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of the drug is too strong or too weak.

 

• If you have taken a larger amount of the drug than you should
  • An overdose is usually without consequences. If symptoms arise, please contact your doctor.

 

• If you forgot to take the drug
  • Do not take the double dose if you have forgotten the prior intake.

Taking

• The intake of Calcium Verla 600mg (pack size: 100 pc) takes place with a glass of water during or after eating.

Patient information

• Particular caution when taking the drug is required for:
  • By taking the drug increases, the excretion of calcium in the urine increases.
