Calcium-Sandoz D Osteo Intes 1000mg/880 International units (package size: 120 pc) are chewing tablets that contain calcium and vitamin D3 - two important substances for bone structure ( for bone density and bone loss).
The medicine is taken:
- to prevent and treat a calcium and vitamin D deficiency in older people
- as a supplement to the support of specific osteoporos therapy for patients in whom there is a risk of vitamin D and calcium deficiency.
Mode of action
Calcium is an important mineral that forms hard tissue in the body. This makes it essential for the development and growth of bones and teeth. With the additional vitamin D included, calcium intake increases and the storage increases.

Active ingredients:
Calcium and Colecalciferol (vitamin D3)
Each chewing tablet contains 2,500 mg calcium carbonate (corresponding to 1,000 mg calcium) and 8.8 mg Colecalciferol dry concentrate (powder form) (corresponding to 22 micrograms Colecalcifefol = 880 I.E. Vitamin D3).

- Pregnant women only take 1/2 chewing tablets daily (corresponding to 500 mg calcium and 440 I.E. [Internationale Einheiten] vitamin D3). The daily dose of 1/2 chewing tablet must not be exceeded.
- The drug must not be taken by children and adolescents under the age of 18.
- Duration of treatment
- Taking this drug is long -term treatment. Talk to your doctor how long you should take the tablets.
- If you have taken a larger amount than you should
