Contradictions

Taking

• Application on the skin (rubbed):
  • Rub the chest and back
• Inhalation with water vapor:
  • Pour on the ointment strand with 0.6 liters of hot water and inhale the rising vapors through the mouth and nose for about 10 minutes (caution, the vapors are hot at first!).
  • Do not inhale children without supervision! Caution when dealing with hot water!
  • When inhalation with an inhalator, please note the operating instructions!

• Warnings and Precautions
  • In the event of complaints that last longer than a week, with deterioration or when the breath appears, fever as well as in the case of bloody or purulent expectoration should be consulted.
  • This ointment must not be used/rubbed on the face.
  • When using this preparation, the contact of the medicine must be avoided with the eyes, otherwise it can lead to irritation of the eyes.
  • The ointment should not be used in the area of mucous membranes or irritated skin.
  • After use, the hands are to be cleaned thoroughly.
  • Children
    • In children from 30 months to 4 years, the application is not recommended, since only inadequate experiences ofrings.
    • For general security reasons, only children from 6 years and adults should use this preparation as steam inhalation. Do not inhale children without supervision!
    • In rare cases, the inhalation of concentrated vapories leads to breathing arrest in infants and toddlers, presumably as a result of cramps of the vocal creep.
