Field of use

• The preparation is a herbal drug for colds of the respiratory tract.
• The medicine is used to treat the symptoms of acute bronchitis and colds of the airways with viscous mucus.

Contradictions

• The medicine must not be taken
  • if you are hypersensitive (allergic) against primals, thyme and other lamiaceen (lip bloom) or one of the other components.

dosage

• Always take the medicine exactly according to the instruction. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not quite sure.
• Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is:
  • Children from 6 - 12 years (approx. 20 - 43 kg)
    • Single dose: 30 drops, 3 to 5 times a day
    • Total dose: 90 - 150 drops (corresponds to 1.8 g thyme fluid extract and 0.9 g primary tincture per day)
  • Adolescents from 12 years and adults
    • Single dose: 35 drops, 5 times a day
    • Total dose: 175 drops (corresponds to 2.2 g thyme fluid extract and 1.1 g primary tincture per day)
• There is no sufficient examinations for use in children under 6 years, so the drug is not intended for use in children under 6 years.
• Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect is too strong or too weak.

 

• Duration of the application
  • The application is not limited in time.
  • However, please note the specified side effects in any case.

 

 

• If you have taken a larger amount than you should
  • The side effects listed can possibly occur more.
  • In this case, please notify a doctor. This may decide on the necessary measures.

 

 

• If you have forgotten the intake
  • If you have taken too little or have forgotten taking it, So you should make up for it as soon as possible and then continue with the given or prescribed dosage.
  • However, if you have forgotten a whole day, you will no longer take the missing amount, but continue taking the next day as stated or prescribed by your doctor.

Taking

Pregnancy

• So far, there have been no indications of risks in pregnancy and breastfeeding from the widespread use of thyme as medicinal and food and the use of primrose root as medicinal products. However, the results of sufficient studies on the application of this drug in pregnancy and breastfeeding are not available. The application of the drug for pregnant women and during breastfeeding is therefore not recommended.
