Instructions for use

The total dose should not be exceeded without consulting a doctor or pharmacist.

How should it be used?
Take the medicine with water.

Duration of use?
Allergic rhinitis with concurrent conjunctivitis: Use should be continued as long as contact with the allergen (e.g., pollen) persists.
Hives: The duration of use depends on the type of complaint and/or the duration of the illness and is therefore determined only by your doctor.

Overdose?
An overdose may cause nausea, dizziness, and headaches, among other symptoms. If you suspect an overdose, consult a doctor immediately.

In general, pay careful attention to the dosage, especially for infants, small children, and the elderly. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist about any side effects or precautions.

The dosage prescribed by a doctor may differ from the information in the package leaflet. Since the doctor adjusts it individually, you should therefore use the medicine according to his or her instructions.

Mode of action

How does the active ingredient in the medicine work?

The active ingredient helps with allergies and relieves itching. It suppresses the effect of the body's own substance histamine by displacing it from its binding sites. As a tissue hormone and messenger substance, histamine plays an important role in the development of inflammation and allergic reactions. Blocking its binding sites interrupts the allergic reaction.

- Herpes virus infection
- Fever
- General weakness
- Improvement of a pre-existing condition
- EKG- Changes (abnormal EKG)

Better control of allergies thanks to Bitosen*¹

Bitosen can relieve the symptoms of hay fever (sneezing, itchy, runny, blocked nose, and red and watery eyes) and other forms of allergic rhinitis (e.g., allergies to house dust mites, pet dander, or mold). It can also be used to treat itchy skin rashes (hives). Bitosen is used in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and older.

Instructions for Use of Bitosen*
