Field of use

For the expectorant treatment for acute and chronic diseases of the lungs and the lower airways, which are associated with a disturbance of mucus formation and transport.

Contradictions

Thefsitivity reactions can occur against all medicines, then you have to stop taking the medication immediately. If an allergy to the active ingredient or one of the other components of the drug is known, it must not be applied.

- The drug should not be used for gastric or small intestine ulcers, since the active ingredient can affect the gastrointestinal mucosal barrier.

- If the lower respiratory tract and larger amounts of secretions (e.g. in rare malignant zilien syndrome), the medicine should only be used with caution due to a possible secretion.

- In the event of severe reduced kidney function, the reduction products of the active ingredient formed in the liver must be accumulated.

- If kidney function or severe liver disease is restricted, the medicine may only be used with special caution (i.e. at larger intervals or in reduced dose).

- Due to the high active ingredient content, the drug is not suitable for children under 6 years.
