Our Basilicos capsules are a metabolism-supporting combination of nutritive and aromatic herbs, synergistically enhanced with essential vitamins from the B group. The group of herbs is led by royal herb powder (basil, basil, ocimum basil), which has found widespread use as a spice and supports the metabolic effect of the other components. In addition to the pleasant taste, royal herb also provides significantly activating impulses for digestion, so that the consequences of unbridled well-being at mealtimes are combated. It has also been used traditionally for urinary tract disorders, intestinal inflammation, stomach cramps, vomiting, flatulence, constipation and migraines. Purzelkraut has a blood-cleansing effect and relieves symptoms of heartburn, loss of appetite, constipation, etc. Both herbs have a strong bitter substance content in common, which puts the capsule formulation in the area of a metabolic stimulant. Bitter substances are activators that increase the autogenous enzyme activity in the body and stimulate the secretory performance of the digestive organs and glands. With a slow metabolism and a moderately reduced basal metabolic rate, e.g. with decreasing physical activity or with reduction measures or low-stimulus diets, such bitter substances, especially supported by the obligatory vitamin intake, can contribute an important nutritional impulse that daily food alone does not offer.
