Field of use

The medical oil baths for special treatment of dry, stressed and slightly itchy skin such as atopic eczema (neurodermatitis), psoriasis (psoriasis), fish dance disease (ichthyosis), age itching (Pruritus Senilis), eczema such as diaper deczema, washing deczema.
The proven Balneum Hermal Oil baths make an important contribution in the treatment of dry skin. The medical baths are distributed in the finest droplets in bath water and form a nourishing lipid film on the skin. As a result, the skin is greased evenly and thinly, so that areas can also be easily reached, which are not so easy to reach when applying your hand. At the same time, the out of the top layer of skin is reduced from the top layer of skin during bathing. This stabilizes the skin's hydro-lipid system and supports the restoration of the natural skin barrier function.

The frequency of the use of Balneum Hermal depends on the type and extent of the symptoms. In general, the bathrooms are to be taken every 2 - 3 days.

Balneum Hermal is placed in the embedded bathing water and mixed well until an even distribution is reached.
The bathing water temperature should not exceed 36 ° C, since the dashing effect reduces at higher temperatures.
To treat itching, temperature should be 32 ° C or be as low as it is tolerated.
The bathroom time should not exceed 20 minutes. In infants and small children, a useful time of only a few minutes is usually sufficient.
After bathing, the skin is only slightly dab with a towel. Strict drying and rubbing down reduces the therapy effect.
The duration of the treatment depends on the course of the disease. The information under "Precautions for the application and warnings" must be observed.
For swimming, the Balneum Hermal Oil baths are climbed into the embedded bathing watern and mixed well until an even distribution is achieved. You can use the inner part of the screw cap as a measuring cup. For a full bath (approx. 150l), 2-3 measuring cups (30-45ml) are used. 5 ml is used for a children's bath (approx. 25 l), for a partial bath (5 l) 1 ml (approx. 1/4 teaspoon) Balneum Hermal.

  • Do not apply in the area of the eyes.
  • When contacting the eyes accidentally, you can rinse with a lot of cold water. If the irritation symptoms continue to exist, a doctor must be consulted.
  • Keep the medicine outside the range of children. Parents should prevent children from drinking the bathing water.
  • After accidentally taking undiluted bathing oil, you should contact your doctor, even if no complaints have yet occurred.
  • There is an increased risk of slipping from the oil film on the skin, in the bathtub and shower. It should therefore always be paid to a firm hold or stand.
  • Residues in the bathtub and shower basin must be removed immediately after the bathroom with hot water and a conventional budget detergent so that residues of the bath oil cannot be deposited.
