The Avène Hydrance Aqua Gel is a moisturizing all-in-one care with a detox effect, which is particularly suitable for sensitive, dehydrated skin types.

Dehydrated skin can store and bind significantly less water. External influences such as UV rays, heat, cold, make-up, improper cleaning, salt and chlorinated water or even genetic predisposition contribute to the drying out of the skin. Due to the loss of water, the skin reddens and flakes, looks dull and brittle and feels uncomfortable. Fine dryness lines are often visible. In order to restore the natural water reserves, dehydrated skin requires very special care.

Active ingredients and mode of action
The included COHEDERM™ active ingredient complex, consisting of a lipid trio, provides the skin with intensive moisture and restores the naturally existing water reservoirs, which are enriched with Avène thermal water. The COHEDERM™ active ingredient complex ensures better cohesion between the epidermal cells, restoring the hydrolipidic film on the skin's surface. The skin is soothed in the long term and intensively and long-lastingly moisturized. The included pro-tocopherol^® protects the skin from cell damage and in synergy with dextran sulfate it has a detox effect.

Application
The Aqua Gel Mask can be used in many ways.

As day care: apply a thin layer to the face, neck and eye contours in the morning.
As a night mask: apply a thick layer to the face in the evening and leave on overnight.
For care in the eye area: Apply from the inner to the outer corner of the eye.

user studies
The effectiveness of Avène Hydrance Aqua Gel has been proven by various internal user studies. A user study on tolerability was carried out on a total of 30 subjects with dehydrated skin under dermatological and ophthalmological control.

The result: very good general tolerability.

A user satisfaction study was carried out with 90 subjects with dehydrated skin, application morning and evening on the face and neck over 21 days with the Avène Hydrance Aqua-Gel.

The result:
93% of subjects said their skin was hydrated.
