Ass pure 100 mg tablets
Active ingredient: acetylsalicylic acid.
Application areas:
unstable angina pectoris - as part of standard therapy; Acute myocardial infarction - as part of standard therapy; Pure coloring prophylaxis after arterial vascular surgical or interventional interventions (e.g. according to ACVB, at PTCA); Prevention of transitory ischeman attacks (TIA) and brain infarcts after precursor stages have occurred.
Notice:
ASAS PUREN 100 mg is not suitable for the treatment of pain conditions due to its active ingredient content.

Field of use
- The medicine inhibits u. the combination of and clumping blood plates (thrombocytes) and thus prevents the development of blood clots (thrombi) (thrombocyte aggregation inhibition).
- It is used
- with unstable angina pectoris (heart pain due to circulatory disorders in the coronary arteries) - as part of standard therapy
- in the case of acute heart attack - as part of standard therapy
- to prevent another heart attack after the first heart attack (for pure color prophylaxis)
- after operations or other interventions on arterial blood vessels (according to arterial vascular surgical or interventional interventions, e.g. according to aortocoronary vein bypass [ACVB], in percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty [PTCA]))
- to prevent temporary defect in deficiency in the brain (TIA: transitory ischemic attacks) and brain infarcts, after precursor stages (e.g. temporary paralysis in the face or arm muscles or temporary visual loss) occurred.
- Notice
- The preparation is not suitable for the treatment of pain states.

Contradictions
- The medicine must not be taken,
- if you are allergic to acetylsalicylic acid or one of the other components of this medicine.
- if you are allergic to related medicines (salicylates) or non -steroidal anti -rheumatics (NSAID). NSAIDs are often used against joint inflammation or rheumatism and pain.
- if you take a asthma attack or swelling on some parts of the body after taking salicylates or Nsar, e.g. B. had face, lips, throat or tongue (angio edema).
- if you are currently or earlier a stomach or duodenum ulcer or another kind of bleeding, e.g. B. have a stroke.
- if you have ever had a blood clotting disorder.
- if you have a severe liver or kidney disease.
- In the last third of pregnancy, only quantities of up to 100 mg may be taken daily (see category "Pregnancy notice").
- if you get the drug methrexate (e.g. against cancer or rheumatoid arthritis) in higher doses than 15 mg per week.
dosage
- Always take this medicine exactly after consultation with your doctor. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
- The recommended dose is:
- With unstable angina pectoris (heartache due to circulatory disorders in the coronary arteries)
- A daily dose of 1 tablet (corresponding to 100 mg acetylsalicylic acid per day) is recommended.
- With acute heart attack
- A daily dose of 1 tablet (corresponding to 100 mg acetylsalicylic acid per day) is recommended.
- To prevent another heart attack after the first Heart attack (pure color prophylaxis)
- A daily dose of 3 tablets (corresponding to 300 mg acetylsalicylic acid per day) is recommended.
- After operations or other interventions on arterial blood vessels (according to arterial vascular surgical or interventional interventions; e.g. according to ACVB; near PTCA)
- A daily dose of 1 tablet (corresponding to 100 mg acetylsalicylic acid per day) is recommended.
- The best time for the beginning of treatment according to Aortocoronary vein bypass (ACVB) seems to be 24 hours after the operation.
- To prevent temporary defect in defect in the brain (TIA) and brain infarcts after precursor stages occurred
- A daily dose of 1 tablet (corresponding to 100 mg acetylsalicylic acid per day) is recommended.

- Older patients

- If you have taken a larger amount than you should
- If you (or another person) have accidentally taken too many tablets, you should inform your doctor immediately or contact the nearest emergency room. Show the doctor's remaining medicine or the empty pack.
- Symptoms of overdose can be ears, hearing problems, headaches, dizziness, confusion, nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain. A strong overdose can lead to accelerated breathing (hyperventilation), fever, strong sweating, restlessness, cramps, hallucinations, low blood sugar, coma and shock.
- If you have forgotten the intake
- If you have failed to take it, wait until it is time for the next dose and then continue taking it as usual.
- Do not take the double amount if you have forgotten the prior intake.

- Acetylsalicylic acid can cause the so-called Reye syndrome if it is administered to children. Reye syndrome is a very rare disease that damages the brain and liver and can be life-threatening. For this reason, the preparation may not be administered to children and adolescents under the age of 16, unless the doctor has expressly ordered it.
- You should make sure that you do not get a lack of fluid (i.e. no situations with strong thirst or dry mouth), since in such situations the use of acetylsalicylic acid can lead to a deterioration in kidney function.
- This medicine is not suitable for use as a pain reliever or fever -lowering agent.

- Pregnancy
- Pregnant women should not take acetylsalicylic acid during pregnancy unless the doctor has expressly advised.
