Detailed instructions for ASS Aristo 100 mg gastro-resistant tablets, 100 pcs

Field of use

  • The drug contains acetylsalicylic acid, which is part of a group of medication in low doses, which are called platelet aggregation inhibitors. Thromboocytes are tiny cells in the blood that can make the blood to clot and lead to thrombosis. The appearance of a blood clot in an artery stops blood flow and cuts the oxygen supply. If this happens in the heart, a heart attack or angina pectoris can occur; In the brain it can lead to a stroke.
  • The drug is used to reduce the risk of the development of blood clots and prevent the following diseases:
    • Heart attack
    • Stroke
    • Disorders of the cardiovascular system in patients with stable or unstable angina pectoris (chest pain).
  • It is also used to prevent the development of blood clots according to certain types of cardiac surgery for expanding or keeping the blood vessels open.
  • This medicine is not suitable for emergency situations. It can only be taken for prevention.
