Field of use

• The preparation is a vegetable medicine for colds of the respiratory tract.
• It is used to improve the symptoms in the case of colds of the airways with viscous mucus.

Contradictions

• The medicine must not be taken,
  • if you are allergic to eucalyptus oil (cineol, alpha-pins) or one of the other components of this medicine
  • in inflammatory diseases in the gastrointestinal area
  • in inflammatory diseases in the area of biliary tract
  • in serious liver diseases
  • from infants and toddlers up to 2 years
  • at asthma bronchial, whooping cough, pseudo croup or other respiratory diseases, which are associated with a pronounced hypersensitivity of the airways.

dosage

• Always take this medicine exactly as described or exactly after the agreement made with your doctor or pharmacist. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
• The recommended dose is
  • Adults and adolescents from the age of 12
    • Single dose: 1 soft capsule (corresponding to 200 mg eucalyptus oil)
    • Total dose: 2 to 3 soft capsules (corresponding to 400 - 600 mg eucalyptus oil)
  • Adults and adolescents aged 12 and over take 2 - 3 x a day 1 capsule.
• Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of the capsules is too strong or too weak.

 

• Duration of the application
  • If you don't feel better or worse after 3 days, contact your doctor.

 

• If you have taken a larger amount than you should
  • When taking the drug at the specified maximum amount in the dosage instructions or the prescribed dosage from the doctor, keep the doctor. If you accidentally took one or two soft capsules more than intended, this usually has no adverse consequences. However, taking significant symptoms (e.g. vomiting, abdominal pain, drowsiness, shortness of breath) can cause consideration of significantly. In this case, get in touch with your doctor, even if there have been no complaints. This applies in particular if a small child has swallowed larger quantities. Do not drink milk or alcoholic beverages in the event of an overdose. These drinks can promote the absorption of the drugs of the drug in the blood.

 

• If you have forgotten the intake

Pregnancy

• There is no sufficient examinations to apply this drug during pregnancy and breastfeeding. So do not take it during pregnancy and lactation.
• Eucalyptus oil/cineol passes into breast milk.
