Field of use

Artelac Lipids Edo eye gel (pack size: 60X0.6 g) is suitable for heavily watery, dry eyes that are caused by chronic illnesses or medication and cannot be adequately relieved by thin eye moisturizers. Surgical procedures on the eye, autoimmune diseases or the regular use of medications such as beta blockers or psychotropic drugs can promote this type of complex dry eye. Age also plays an important role, as the meibomian glands can increasingly experience a loss of function after the age of 50.

Contact lenses should be removed before use. They can be reinserted 15 minutes after application.

Mode of action

Artelac Lipids Edo eye gel (pack size: 60X0.6 g) is a protective shield that provides long-lasting protection for the surface of the eye as a dropper gel. The rich lipids it contains supplement and stabilize the lipid layer of the tear film, thereby reducing the evaporation of the aqueous layer. The carbomer also moisturizes the cornea and conjunctiva for a long time. Users experience long-lasting relief and intensive moisturizing of their watery, dry eyes.

2 mg/g carbomer
Medium chain triglycerides (lipids)

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, this product should not be used.

dosage

Recommended use of Artelac Lipids Edo eye gel (pack size: 60X0.6 g):

Grasp the one-dose ophtiol by the end with the label and carefully separate it from the strip. Hold the one-dose ophtiol by the end with the label cap side down and gently tap until all of the eye gel is in the neck of the one-dose ophtiol.
Unscrew the cap of the one-dose ophtiol (do not pull). Tilt your head back slightly and pull your lower eyelid down slightly with one finger of your free hand.
Hold the ophtiol vertically over the eye with the drip tip pointing downwards, avoiding touching the eye. Squeeze the ophtiol to instill 1 drop into the inferior conjunctival sac.
Then close your eyes, move them slightly back and forth and blink so that the gel drop is well distributed over the surface of the eye.
Put one gel drop of Artelac® Lipids EDO® into the eye 3 to 5 times a day or more often if necessary.
