Field of use

• The medicine is used for unrest and nervous sleep disorders.

Contradictions

• The medicine must not be taken,
  • if you are allergic to valerian root, hop cones or other components of this medicine.

dosage

• Always take this medicine exactly as described or exactly after the agreement made with your doctor or pharmacist. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
• The recommended dose is:
  • For adults and young people aged 12 and over:
    • to treat restlessness up to 3 times a day, 1 excessive tablet
    • for the treatment of nervous sleep disorders 1 excessive tablet 1/2 to 1 hour before going to bed. If necessary, you can also take 1 covered tablet earlier in the course of the evening.

 

• Duration of the application
  • The duration of this drug is not in principle limited. However, note the note in Kathroie "Patient notice".
• Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect is too strong or too weak.

 

• If you have taken a larger amount than you should
  • If you accidentally took twice or three times the intended dosage (corresponds to 2 - 3 covered tablets), this usually has no adverse consequences. In this case, continue taking as described in the dosage instructions or was prescribed by your doctor.
  • If you have significantly overdosed this medicine, you should consult a doctor.

 

• If you have forgotten the intake
  • Do not take the double amount if you have forgotten the prior intake, but continue taking it as stated or prescribed by your doctor.

• Please do not take it while lying down. Please take the covered tablets with sufficient liquid (preferably a glass of drinking water).

  • If the restlessness or nervous sleep disorders last for more than 14 days or worsen, you must definitely see a doctor.
  • Children
    • There is no sufficient examinations for the use of this drug in children. Deit is therefore not recommended to take this drug for children under the age of 12.

 

• Wateriness and ability to operate machines
  • Up to 2 hours after taking this medicine, you should not carry motor vehicles, operate machines or carry out work without a safe hold, since your reaction capacity can also be impaired even if used as intended. This applies to an increased extent in interaction with alcohol.

Pregnancy

• So far, there have been no indications of risks during pregnancy and during breastfeeding from the widespread use of valerian root and hop cones as medicinal products. However, the results of experimental investigations for a benefit-risk assessment are not available. You should therefore not take this medicine during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
• If you are pregnant or breastfeed, or if you suspect that you are pregnant or intend to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this drug.

Miscellaneous

- If the symptoms last for more than 2 weeks or worsen, a doctor must be consulted.
- The drug can change the reaction capacity, so that the ability to actively participate in road traffic or to operate machines is affected. This is particularly true in interaction with alcohol.
