Field of use
Antifungol Hexal 3 (pack size: 20 g) is a means of treating fungal diseases. The medicine is used when the vagina and discharge through fungi (mostly candida) as well as super infections with clotrimazole-sensitive bacteria.
Mode of action
The special thing about Antifungol Hexal 3 (pack size: 20 g):
The active ingredient damages the outer shell of the cell membrane of mushrooms. Depending on the concentration of the active ingredient, the mushrooms are thus inhibited in their growth and increase. This is inhibited and prevents further spread.

Clotrimazole 1 g vaginal cream contains 20 mg clotrimazole.

Benzyl alcohol, Cetylpalmitat (Ph.EUR.), Cetylstearyl alcohol (Ph.EUR.), Involved paraffin, polysorbate 60, sorbitan stem, cleaned water
Contradictions
May not be used if they are hypersensitive (allergic) against clotrimazole or one of the other components of the drug. In the case of hypersensitivity to one of the cream components, it is advisable to use a different dosage form (e.g. vaginal tablets) instead of the vaginal cream.

Application recommendation of Antifungol Hexal 3 (pack size: 20 g):
On three consecutive days in the evening, insert an application filling (approx. 5 g) in the vagina as deep as possible on three consecutive days. The filled one-off applicator is emptied in the vagina, preferably in a supine position. If the external signs of the disease (e.g. discharge, itching) have not fully subsided after the three -day treatment has ended, further treatment may only be made after consultation with the treating doctor
Taking
- On 3 consecutive days, you should insert 1 application fulfillment (approx. 5 g) once a day - in the evening - as described below.
- 1. First pull out the piston of the one-time applicator to the stop.
- 2. Open the tube, put on the one-time applicator onto the tube, hold firmly pressed and fill by carefully pressing the tube.
- 3. Remove the one-time applicator from the tube, insert as deep as possible into the vagina (preferably in a supine position, with slightly attracted legs) and empty by pressure on the piston.
- 4. A new one-time applicator must be used for each application, which is then thrown away.
- The treatment should not be carried out during menstruation or should be completed before the start.
Patient information
Please ask your doctor:
- if you are under 18 years old
- if the disease occurs for the first time, since the discharge and inflammation of the vagina can have different causes. In principle, these can only be diagnosed by a doctor.
- if you have occurred more than four such fungal infections over the past 12 months. If the use with latex products (e.g. condoms, diaphragms) at the same time, the functionality contained can reduce functionality and thus impair the safety of these products. Wateriness and operating machines:
There are no special precautions required. Store drug out of reach of children.

Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before application. For reasons of caution, you may only use the medicine after the appropriate benefit/risk assessment by your treating doctor. During pregnancy, treatment with the vaginal cream should be carried out by the doctor or with vaginal tablets without an applicator.
During breastfeeding you can use Antifungol®hexal®3 vaginal cream to instruction your doctor.
Hints
Bettable after a start!
The treatment should not be carried out during menstruation or should be completed before the start.
If the external signs of the disease (e.g. discharge, itching) have not fully subsided after the three -day treatment has ended, further treatment may only take place after consultation with the treating doctor.
Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of Antifungol®hexal® 3 vaginal cream is too strong or too weak.
