Area of application: Short-term anesthesia of the skin surface before certain medical procedures.

ANESDERM^® is a versatile local anesthetic - it numbs the skin and eliminates pain. When vaccinating or performing minor procedures, the needle always comes into contact with the skin – this is usually not completely painless. ANESDERM^® provides a remedy: It numbs the respective skin area before an operation.

Indication:
With ANESDERM^® , Pierre Fabre Dermatologie offers a cream to numb the skin before painful procedures. Regardless of whether it is a vaccination, taking a blood sample, injecting a local anesthetic into a sensitive part of the body, laser therapy or a minor surgical procedure such as removing a mole - ANESDERM^® , with its combination of active ingredients, ensures painless and therefore stress-free treatment. The active ingredients, 25 mg/g lidocaine + 25 mg/g prilocaine, cause the skin to become insensitive to pain after an exposure time of up to one hour, depending on the body part.

Active ingredients and mode of action of the product:
ANESDERM^® contains the two active ingredients lidocaine and prilocaine. ANESDERM^® belongs to the group of drugs known as local anesthetics. ANESDERM^® works by briefly anesthetizing the skin's surface. It is applied to the skin before certain medical procedures. This reduces the pain on the skin, but the sensitivity to pressure and touch can remain.

Application:
The proven active ingredients of ANESDERM^® penetrate the skin and, after an exposure time of approx. one hour, make it insensitive to pain by blocking the transmission of the pain stimulus to the brain. Vaccinations, blood tests or the removal of small skin changes such as molluscs can be carried out painlessly and are no longer frightening thanks to ANESDERM^® . ANESDERM^® can also be used on the genital mucosa of adults, e.g. B. for local anesthesia before minor interventions such as the removal of genital warts or the injection of local anesthetics.

Ingredients:
Prilocaine, lidocaine, carbomer 980, macrogolglycerol hydroxystearate 40, sodium hydroxide solution 10%, purified water.

Use Anesderm for laser treatment. I would rate the level of anesthesia at 6 out of 10. I have also tried other ointments, but Anesderm remains my favorite so far.

I used it to remove raised moles. I have an extra device for this. I didn't feel any anesthesia in the affected area. Almost ineffective and far too expensive. I won't buy any more.
