The risk of infection lurks wherever people are on the road: the spores of the mushrooms that cause infection can stay extremely unruly on the floors of swimming pools and sports halls. How long should Amorolfin STADA® be used?
Nails grow slowly, so it can take 2 or 3 months to recognize an improvement. It is important to continue using the nail polish until the infection is eliminated and healthy nails have grown.

Can you use other nail products during treatment with Amorolfin STADA®?
Cosmetic nail polish or artificial nails should not be used during treatment with amorolfin STADA®.

Mode of action

Amorolfin STADA 5% (package size: 5 ml) is highly effective against the known nail mushrooms. The active ingredient penetrates deep into the nail plate and therefore also fights difficult to reach mushrooms.

Ingredients of Amorolfin STADA 5% (pack size: 5 ml):

The active ingredient is: Amorolfin. 1 ml of active ingredient nail polish contains 50 mg amorolfin according to 55.74 mg amorolf inhydrochloride.

The other components are ammonium methacrylate copolymer (type A), triacetin, butyl acetate, ethyl acetate, ethanol.

Amorolfin STADA® 5 % active ingredient nail polish is a clear, colorless to pale yellow Solution.
Amorolfin STADA® 5 % active ingredient nail polish is available in packs with 3 ml and 5 ml of active ingredient nail polish with alcohol punching, spatulence and nail files.

Contradictions

In the case of known hypersensitivity to one of the above -mentioned ingredients, this product should not be used.

dosage

Application recommendation of Amorolfin STADA 5% (pack size: 5 ml):

Amorolfin STADA® only has to be applied 1 to 2 times a week.
For optimal treatment, the diseased area of the nail including the nail surface should first be filed using the attached nail file. The nail surface is then cleaned with the supplied alcohol swab. Then the nail polish can be applied with the reusable spatula.
The paint has dried about 3 minutes after application and is no longer influenced by soap and water. Treated hands and feet can therefore be washed as usual. The use of the nail polish should be continued without interruption until the infection is eliminated and the healthy nail has grown. This usually takes 6 months for fingernails and 9 to 12 months with footnails.

Taking

• Before starting:
  • In the scheme standing in the use of use, mark the area of the nail that is affected by the fungal infection.
  • This will help you remember how the nail originally looked when your treatment is checked.
  • Record the area every 3 months, which is then affected until the diseased nail has grown out completely. If more than 1 nail is affected, choose the worst affected nail for this recording.
  • Take the package insert to the pharmacist or podiatrist if the treatment is to be checked to inform you about the previous progress of the treatment.

Patient information

• Special care in the application is required
  • if you suffer from diabetes (diabetes)
  • if you are treated because of a weak immune system
  • if you suffer from poor blood circulation in your hands and feet
  • if your nail is badly damaged or infected
  • when the medicine gets into your eyes or ears.
    • Wash them immediately with water and immediately contact your doctor or pharmacist or to the nearest hospital.
  • Avoid letting the nail polish come into contact with mucous membranes (e.g. in the mouth and nose). Don't breathe in it.

• Find your doctor if you are pregnant, plan to get pregnant or breastfeed. Your doctor will then decide whether you can apply this preparation.
• Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using all medicines.
