Brief information on valine, leucine and isoleucine:
These three amino acids are among the essential branched chain amino acids (BCAA). The branched-chain amino acids are broken down and metabolized primarily in peripheral tissues. As a result, BCAAs have a high anabolic effect on the muscles and serve as an energy supplier in the event of a glycogen deficiency.

Examples of possible nutritional measures of branched-chain amino acids:
Branched-chain amino acids can be used in combination with other detoxification-promoting measures to support liver detoxification. In the case of severe liver damage (hepatic encephalopathy), the dietary use of BCAAs can counteract an increased passage of aromatic amino acids across the blood-brain barrier.

Important NOTE:
Valine, leucine and isoleucine should always be taken in combination.
