Field of use

Amino-Ther Pro Powder (pack size: 30X5.85 g) is a food for special medical purposes (balanced diets) indicated for the dietary management of protein malnutrition in acute or chronic diseases associated with loss of muscle mass, and in senile or neoplastic sarcopenia.

Amino-Ther Pro powder (pack size: 30X5.85 g) with citrus flavor, for oral or enteral administration.

Amino-Ther Pro against muscle mass loss / sarcopenia – especially for elderly patients.

Main indications for Amino-Ther® PRO (oral or enteral) recommended:

• For loss of muscle mass as a result of aging and chronic diseases (chronic heart failure, COPD, chronic liver and kidney diseases) and/or neoplastic diseases
• Sarcopenia and frailty
• Involuntary weight loss
• For protein malnutrition
• In protein malnutrition due to slow healing of tissue injuries (pressure ulcers, diabetic ulcers, surgical wounds, etc.)
• During and after severe infectious episodes, accompanied by prolonged confinement to bed and loss of appetite
• Recovery after orthopedic-traumatic operations
• Inability to take food through the mouth

Contraindications

The product should not be used if there is a known hypersensitivity to any of the above ingredients.

Recommended use of Amino-Ther Pro Powder (pack size: 30X5.85 g):

1-2 sachets per day (depending on medical discretion)

Oral use: pour the contents of one sachet into a glass and add 120-150 ml of still water at room temperature; mix thoroughly until completely dissolved.

Enteral administration: Do not combine Amino-Ther® PRO with other products. Pour the contents of one sachet of Amino-Ther® PRO into a suitable container and dissolve thoroughly in 150 ml of water.
