Field of use

This drug has an anti -allergic and anti -inflammatory effect. It contains sodium cromoglicat, a
prophylactically effective anti -allergic and mast cell stabilizer.
The preparation is used at:
- Food allergies that do not do without the triggering food (allergenic career)

Notice:

For the treatment of acute asthma attack or other acutely occurring by a food allergy
This medicine is not suitable.
If you have been a life -threatening

Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is:
Adults and adolescents from the age of 15 take 2 capsules four times a day (corresponding to a total of 800 mg sodium cromoglicat). Children between the ages of two and fourteen receive a capsule four times a day (corresponding to a total of 400 mg sodium cromoglicat). In infants and toddlers between two months and two years, the daily dose is 20 - 40 mg/kg body weight. If possible, it should be in four equally large ones

- The medicine is not suitable for the treatment of acute asthma attack.
- People who have already had an allergic shock after eating food should also do without consuming the food concerned during treatment with cromoglicic acid.
- The use of cromoglicic acid cannot be recommended for infants in the first two months of life (correspondingly longer in premature babies).
