Field of use
- The medicine is an acnach therapy for use on the skin.
- The preparation is used for acne vulgaris.
- Benzoylperoxide, the active ingredient of the preparation, acts against the acnebacteria that are responsible for the development of acne. The cornening disorder available in acne is positively influenced by the gentle peeling effect.

Contradictions
- The medicine must not be applied if you
- are hypersensitive (allergic) against benzoylperoxide or one of the other components of the preparation.
dosage
- Always apply the medicine exactly according to the instruction. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not quite sure.
- Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is:
- Apply the medicine once or twice a day on the skin. Depending on the sensitivity to skin, however, the frequency of application can also be individually adjusted.
- The preparation in patients with particularly sensitive skin should initially only be used once a day before going to bed.
- Duration of the application:
- Experience has shown that the average treatment period is 4 to 10 weeks.
- Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of the drug is too strong or too weak.
- If you have used a larger amount than you should
- The use of a larger amount of the drug can result in excessive drying out and increased peeling the skin. In these cases, expose the preparation to be used and if necessary see a doctor.
- If you have accidentally taken the medicine, this can cause symptoms in the area of the esophagus and stomach. Look for a doctor.
- If you have forgotten the application
- Continue the treatment in accordance with the specified dosage instructions.
- If you cancel the treatment
- In this case, no special measures are required.
- If you have any further questions about the application of the drug, please ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Taking
- The medicine is intended exclusively for use on the skin!
- Clean the skin thoroughly before using the drug. After drying, apply the gel thinly to the diseased skin areas.
Patient information
- Particular caution when using the drug is required
- in patients with atopic eczema (neurodermatitis) who suffer from dry and low -fat skin.
- Avoid that the gel comes into contact with your eyes. An accidental contact with the eyes leads to reddening and burning. The eye should then be flushed with running water.
- Do not apply the medicine to mucous membranes and in the area of the oral, nose and eye angles.
- Do not apply the preparation to injured skin.
- Avoid intensive UV radiation (solar radiation/solariums) of the treated parts of the body during therapy with the medicine.
- Because of its bleaching effect, the medicine should not be on the eyebrows, in the beard area or at the foreheadaar limit and must not come into contact with colored textiles.
- Wateriness and operating machines
- There are no special precautions required.
Pregnancy
- Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking/using all drugs.
- Pregnancy
- The preparation should only be used with the doctor during pregnancy and lactation after careful advice. The preparation should not be used in the last month of pregnancy.
- Breastfeeding
- It is not known whether benzoylperoxide is transferred to breast milk after external use.

Miscellaneous
- Only when the 3%preparation can be applied without overreactions of the skin should the 5%preparation be transferred.
- If no improvement occurs with the application of the low concentrated medicinal product, then a higher concentrated preparation (10%) should be used.
- Due to the bleaching effect of the active ingredient (benzoylperoxide), the preparation should not be applied to the eyebrows, in the beard area or the forehead hair limit, nor should colored textiles come into contact.
- During the application of the drug, no sunbathing should be taken or solariums should be visited.
- Other irritating drugs should not be used at the same time.
- At the beginning of the treatment, the effect can be used to use slight skin irritation such as reddening, itching, feeling of tension, burning as well as drying out and moderate peeling. If these signs last for longer than 5 days, the preparation must be discontinued and the doctor must be visited.
- In individual cases, there may be an overreaction of the skin when contacted with the medicine (contact sensitization). In this case, the medicine should be discontinued.
