Field of use

• The preparation is a traditional medicine.
• It is used as a mild drug for blemishes.
• Notice:
  • If the blemishes do not improve or if inflammation should occur in the area of application, the doctor must be visited.

Contradictions

• The medicine must not be used,
  • if they are hypersensitive to ammonium bituminosulfonate, zinc oxide, methyl 4-hydroxybenzoat or one of the other components of the drug.

dosage

• Always apply the medicine exactly according to the instruction.
• Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not quite sure.
• The following information applies unless your doctor prescribed the medicine. Please adhere to the application regulations, otherwise the medicine cannot work properly!
  • Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is:
    • Apply evenly thinly to the affected skin areas in the morning and in the evening. Do not apply the medicine to large skin areas with more than 20 % of the body surface.
• Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of the drug is too strong or too weak.

 

• If you have used a larger amount of the drug than you should
  • Overdoses are not known. You can easily remove excess ointment with water.

 

• If you have any further questions about the application of the drug, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
  

Taking

• Apply evenly thin to the affected skin areas

Patient information

• Particular caution when using the drug is required
  • Due to the content of methyl 4-hydroxybenzoat, Nesselucht (Urtikaria) can occur when using this medicine. Immediate reactions with urticaria and bronchospasm (bronchial cramp) are rare. Late reactions such as contact dermatitis are also possible.
  • After use, please wash your hands. Do not connect with eyes and mucous membranes. Do not apply to open wounds or acute eczema!
  • Children
    • There is no sufficient examinations for the use of the drug in children. The drug should therefore not be used in children under the age of 12.

 

• Wateriness and operating machines
  • There are no special precautions required.
    

Pregnancy

• Pregnancy and breast feeding period
  • Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking/using all drugs.
  • The drug should not be applied to the lactating breast.
