Field of use

• The preparation is a yeast -aging polyenantibiotic.
• For topical therapy of proven nystin -sensitive, intestinal yeastycoses, especially after or during therapy with cytostatics, corticosteroids or antibiotics.
• To remove or reduce the gastrointestinal yeast reservoir as a supplement to local therapy of existing oral or vaginal yeast infections.

Contradictions

• The medicine should not be taken,
  • if you are hypersensitive (allergic) against the active ingredient nystatin or one of the other components of this medicine.

dosage

• Always take the preparation exactly according to the instruction. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not quite sure.
• Dosage:
  • Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is:
    • To treat yeastycases, please take 2 film-coated tablets 3 times a day (1,000,000 IR. NYSTATIN).
    • If necessary, the daily dose can be increased to up to 12 film -coated tablets.
    • During therapy with yeast growth-promoting medication, please take 1 film-coated tablet (500,000 I.E. Nystatin) 3 times a day.
    • To reduce or eliminate the yeast deposit in the gastrointestinal tract as a supplement of local therapy of existing oral or vaginal yeast infections, 1 - 2 film -coated tablets (500,000 - 1,000,000 I.E. NYSTATIN) must be taken 3 times a day.

 

• Duration of the application
  • When treating yeast infections, all foci of infection must be completely eliminated in order to avoid relapses.
  • In order to achieve permanent success of treatment, you should take the preparation regularly for at least 2 weeks.
  • To reduce or eliminate the yeast deposit in the gastrointestinal tract with existing mucosal yeast infections (oral or vaginal candidosis), 1-2 film-coated tablets should be taken 3 times a day. Treatment must be maintained until the disease risk is terminated.
  • Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect is too strong or too weak.

 

• If you have used a larger amount than you should
  • If you observe side effects with you, please take the preparation and contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Taking

• To take.
• After meals, the film -coated tablets should be taken with sufficient liquid (e.g. 1 glass of water).

Patient information

• Special caution in the name is necessary if the following applies:
  • Children:
    • Due to the high osmolarity of nystatinadvised.

 

• Wateriness and operating machines:
  • There are no special precautions required.

Pregnancy

• Nystatin, the active ingredient of the preparation, is hardly absorbed in therapeutic dose after oral gift, over the intact skin or over the mucous membranes. The placenta barrier does not happen, and a transfer to breast milk is also not to be expected.
• The medicine can be used during pregnancy and lactation.

Miscellaneous

- If the diseased areas trigger unpleasant stimuli or change something there, end taking the medication and immediately interview the doctor
- When treating fungal infections, all mushroom stoves on the skin and the mucous membranes must be removed in order to avoid relapses that arise from untreated mushroom herds.
