Field of use

Additive vision film tablets (pack size: 30 pieces) are a dietary supplement with vitamins, trace elements, lutein, zeaxanthin and polyphenols.

The vitamins C and E as well as the trace elements zinc, copper and selenium are among the so-called antioxidants. They protect the organism from the consequences of oxidative stress to which the eye is constantly exposed due to the constant exposure to light. Oxidative stress is responsible for the formation of free radicals, i.e. cell-damaging substances, which in turn are rendered harmless by antioxidants as "radical scavengers". Secondary plant substances such as polyphenols also have antioxidant properties. They are mainly found in the outer layers of plants, i.e. the skin of fruit, vegetables and cereals.

Carotenoids such as lutein and zeaxanthin belong to the group of xanthophylls, i.e. natural plant pigments (yellow). In nature, the substances always occur together and lutein and zeaxanthin are also found in high concentrations in the eye. They are pigments in the retina (retina), especially in the so-called "yellow spot", which is responsible for sharp vision.
