Field of use

Accu Chek Aviva control solution (pack size: 1x2.5 ml) Check whether blood sugar measuring device and test strips provide correct measured values.

Mode of action

If there is reason to assume that the blood sugar measuring device or the test strips do not work properly, this can be checked using a control solution. A check is recommended, for example, if a new test strip pack is opened or if the test strip tube has not been properly closed. The control solution contains a defined glucose concentration. The measurement process corresponds to that of the sugar measurement in the blood. The device recognizes whether blood or control solution has been collected. Whether the measured value corresponds to the permitted area is shown on the display.

Application recommendation of Accu Chek Aviva control solution (pack size: 1x2.5 ml):

Insert the test strips into the measuring device. Historing a drop of control from the bottle and connecting with the lower edge of the test strip. The measured value is displayed on the display.
